Chronic illness – are you tired or toxic?

Chronic Illness, Lyme, Dis-Ease and Poor Health are all symptoms and a way for your body to communicate with you that it needs further support.

I often ask a client whether they are tired or toxic. The mind and body will feel exhausted and overwhelmed, mainly if your detox pathways are blocked!.

From my healing journeys of many health issues and treating thousands of clients for the past 25 years, I have realised that Dis-Ease is a wonderful servant but a horrible master.

If we stop, listen, and determine the root cause of our illness, what needs to change in our lives- emotionally, physically and spiritually, your healing journey can begin, and you will have victory.

By supporting all 11 systems of the body, by opening up your detox pathways, by supporting your 7 Pillars of Wellness and by connecting your mind and body through heart coherence, you give the body the space it needs to heal.

Treating clients in the UK for two decades, I’ve seen many clients with Lyme Disease.  The chronic fatigue associated with Lyme is what I always work on first, guiding a client to reduce the load the Lyme was placing on their systems to help restore good quality of life. All of my clients with Lyme have shifted to live with the Lyme, to befriend the Lyme so that the host and the Lyme live in harmony.

I’m seeing remarkable similarities of my clients with long-Covid, Lyme Disease and Chronic Illnesses. The total exhaustion and feeling under par are what I want to address here. If the body can’t function well at a cellular level, it is like preparing a cake batter but not being able to find the switch to turn the oven on and therefore bake the cake.

By starting from the roots up implementing good daily habits to restore the foundations of your health, the body will do a brilliant job shifting into wellness.

So if you have Lyme Disease, Chronic Illness, or even suffer from long-Covid, I encourage you to look at your 7 Wellness Pillars, to support your body to get well. If you don’t know where to start, take our FREE Rejuv Wellness Quiz, which identifies the top 3 wellness pillars to start with for your unique journey.

For a structured plan, why not also try our FREE 30 Day Good Habits Guide to help restore the foundations of your health.

Here are my top 7 tips to support your Wellness Pillars

  1. Nutrition Clean up your diet, go pesca vegan for a month and see how you feel. Every five different vegetables a day and make sure three are green to feed the powerhouse of your cells  – your mitochondria.
  2. Sleep If you are mouth breathing when you sleep, you will not produce the right amount of Nitric Oxide to support good cell function & healing. Placing a small strip of surgical tape over your mouth is a great way to create the habit of correct nose breathing. Breathe work will significantly improve your oxygenation and healing  (see our Good Habits Guide).
  3. Movement If walking is too hard for you, try weight supportive exercises like swimming or cycling. If this is still too much, I would strongly advise using an FIR sauna each day to open up your detox pathways and radically improve your health. All of our Lyme, Chronic, and long-Covid clients do brilliantly with this heat therapy, and it makes sense as the body naturally produces a fever when it is unwell to clear viral and bacteria load. The best is regular movement and FIR sauna, and I do both each day to keep Dis-Ease and bay.
  4. Mindfulness By reconnecting your mind and body, your health will significantly improve. I love Heart Math and this book by Dr Joe Dispenza ‘Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself’ to help change your mindset to facilitate healing. If you struggle with joy, the book by Mo Gawdat Solve for Happy will bless you.
  5. Body Balance Give your body an extra hand by including massage, acupuncture, reflexology, osteopathy or any other complementary therapy so you can open up your meridians, improve circulation and open up your detox pathways so your body can heal.
  6. Supplementation The world is toxic, and our food doesn’t contain the nutrition it once did, so we need to supplement. Choose plant-based living supplements and start with gut, immune and functional support for your Mitochondria. A great starter pack is our Immune Restore pack or for a complete re-set, try our Seasonal Cleanse pack.
  7. Environment This is the pillar I find so many of my clients are not aware of- the water you drink, the air you breathe, the food you eat, what you put on your skin, your wifi and EMF exposure etc. See my 30 Day Good Habits Guide to walk you through this pillar, for there is too much information to share here.

If you have Lyme Disease or a Chronic Illness – join me, 40 other international speakers and tens of thousands of delegates for the Healing from Lyme Disease and Chronic Illness Naturally Summit online the 15th-23rd of February 2022. The program is filled with excellent sessions and it is FREE for those who register early

So as you can see, if you have Chronic Illness before you chase after the exact illness, restore the foundations of your body. It’s like a home improvement project – you don’t just paint over mould and other major structural and toxic issues. Like your home, your body needs to be built on rock, not sand, so it can rise tall and heal, catapulting you into a life you love with excellent health!
